Collection: Prints

The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts at Old Salem Museums & Gardens is home to an extensive collection of prints that document the people and places of the early American south.  These views documented English perceptions of America and served as vehicles to convey a host of attitudes and values and provide tremendous insights into a myriad of social, political, and economic forces that shaped Southern culture.
