The nationally acclaimed MESDA Research Center houses the MESDA Object Database, a collection of approximately 20,000 records of southern-made objects, and the MESDA Craftsman Database, a collection of primary source information on over 100,000 artisans working in 127 different trades.

The MESDA Research Center and the Anne P. and Thomas A. Gray Library are located within the Frank L. Horton Museum Center:

Hours

The MESDA Research Center is open Wednesday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., but making an appointment is strongly suggested. The MESDA Research team would be happy to assist you both virtually or onsite.
