Don’t worry: While we believe that much of artistic merit was made north AND south of Baltimore, our commitment to collecting, researching, and exhibiting the decorative arts of the early American South remains as strong as ever. We believe that the American story is best told through the arts. Fortunately, there are plenty of museums that collect American decorative arts broadly; but there is only one MESDA.
