Object Gifts

Since 1965, MESDA’s collection has grown through the generosity of collectors, dealers and scholars who have made important object gifts to the MESDA collection.  By giving important southern decorative arts objects to MESDA, donors help preserve the material culture of the early South for future generations.

MESDA welcomes gifts of objects that help the museum fulfill its mission.  Individuals interested in donating an object to MESDA should contact a member of the MESDA curatorial staff (mesdacollection@oldsalem.org or call 336-721-7360).
