Subjects
Mrs. John Tayloe I nee Elizabeth Gwynne (1692-1745) __daughter of David Gwynne and mother of David Lyde by an earlier marriage to Stephen Lyde, whose will is date 3 Jan. 1744 and proved in Richmond county court 2 Nov. 1747. She and Tayloe (S-4300) had four children: William (who died young), Betty (S-4303), John II and Anne.*
