Description:
Large sugar chest with hinged lid, the interior of the case was intended to be divided into three section but only one divider remains, exposed glue block line the post along the interior of the case, the post extend from the top of the case and terminated into turned feet, the sides of the case consist of a single flat panel that fits into the post on all four sides. A oval brass escutcheon adorns the front of the case just below the lid, the lid has a molding that extends slightly past the case on the front and sides.
