Description:
Brass skillet or posnet pot with three splayed legs, saudered into place with tear-drop raised design. The legs have beveled fronts. The pot rim is rolled and reeded. The rim has a 1-3/8″ chip. The pot is stamped by the maker, VIRGINIA. The handle is saudered into place, and rest directly over back leg; Stamped IN: TAYLOR * RICHMOND. Evidence of discoloration and oxidation of copper.
