Description
DESCRIPTION: Part of a porcelain tea set, decorated with floral arrangment in center and conventional borders. Teapot is cylindrically-shaped with twined vine handle, flat top with berry shaped knob.

FORM: The shapes of many forms of Chinese porcelain were derived from European silver. This tea pot suggests the classical drum shaped silver tea pots of the late eighteenth century.
