Description:
DESCRIPTION: Wooden trunk covered in brown leather with oval brass pull on top along with brass tacks that ornament the top and sides with a circle in addition to lining the edges; interior is lined with paper and the top has a makers label; leather straps are attached with nails to the interior of the bottom, now broken, would have also been attached to top to keep truck lid open when in use; there is also a metal lock.

INSCRIPTION: on inside of lid: “MADE AND SOLD/BY/I.W. Anderson,/Saddler & Trunk-Maker,/LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY”
