History
HISTORY: Blake Stevenson believes this rifle exhibits charcateristics of George Vogler’s work. The moon face inlay and pierced patchbox sideplates coupled with the eagle finial are all charcateristics seen on other George Vogler Rifles. Adding weight to this attribution is the provenance of the rife: the rifle descended through several generations of a Rowan County family, and George Vogler worked in Salisbury.
