Friends of MESDA
The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts at Old Salem Museums & Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC, is home to the finest collection of Southern decorative arts in the country. Founded in 1965, MESDA is internationally known for its contributions to the study and understanding of Southern history, decorative arts, and material culture.
The Friends of MESDA program provides essential support for the acquisition, conservation, research, and exhibition of important artifacts made and used in the early South.
All Friends of MESDA members receive:
♦ Free admission for two adults to MESDA and the Old Salem Toy Museum (both located in the Frank L. Horton Museum Center)
♦ 10% discount in all Old Salem retail stores, including Winkler Bakery
♦ Old Salem Museums & Gardens Magazine mailed two times annually
