MESDA Speaks: Antiques Week in Charleston, South Carolina

Robert Leath, Vice President of Collections and Research and Chief Curator, and Daniel Ackermann, Associate Curator of MESDA, will speak as part of Charleston's 2009 Antiques week.

Daniel will lecture as part of the 2009 Charleston Art & Antiques Forum at the Gibbes Museum of Art. He will speak on March 19, 2009 about Charleston's 1794 synagogue. As part of the pre-forum tours on March 18 he will also lead a visit to the present Synagogue, built in 1840. Robert will give the Luncheon Lecture at the Charleston Antiques Show on Saturday, March 21 at noon. He will speak on Charleston Furniture and Decorative Arts.
